Jared + Tara Engaged

Happy New Year!  Today is January 1st, 2014.  I am going to vow right here and now--that I will spend much more time blogging this year than I did last year. Consider it done!
Here are a few samples of the fun engagement photo session I had with Tara and Jared. We started on the Shelby Street walking bridge in downtown Nashville. We then worked our way around town,  onto 2nd Ave, even dropping in to shoot a few inside of Old Spaghetti Factory. (one of my most favorite places to eat!)  This is where they will be having their rehearsal dinner at in May.  We finally shot a few  photos at Riverfront Park, right by the Cumberland River.  I will be shooting their wedding in early May, and we are much looking forward to it.
They do like zombies. So we included some little green zombies in the photos!  It was extremely  cold on this day, but the zombies did not seem to mind a bit!  As for us humans, we were doing all we could to keep our mortal bodies warm.
Keep an eye out some time after May for their wedding photos!  You can also see more of my work at my main website, ShaneIrwinPhotography.com

Eric + Stacy engaged. Arrington Vineyard

Eric and Stacy are going to be married on July 6th in Clarksville!  I made my 2nd trip to Arrington Vineyard for this awesome engagement session, and they were tons of fun!  We shot this session many months ago, and I was planning to post this engagement session blog when we got closer to their wedding date.  Well, I nearly forgot to post it, but I don't know how, because this is one of my favorite, most beautiful engagement sessions!   Here are some of the highlights in these photos.  The wedding is soon to come.

Zach + Tiffany engaged

OK, I have seriously been MIA on my blog this year!  Some self discipline is in order.  ((smack))

This post is a showcase of a wonderful couple who lives near to me. Meet Zach and Tiffany!  We did some serious backwoods trail blazing to get to the location you see here. We had a great adventure of a time doing this, and we were thrilled with the results.

I had a great time downtown with Donnie and Michelle when I shot their engagement photos. They will be married in early September at Carnton Plantation. This is just a quick preview, as I will add a few more photos to this blog entry, soon. Thanks Donnie and Michelle for the honor of shooting your upcoming wedding! Visit my main website HERE.

Kevin + Kim engaged. Nashville

Kevin and Kim were engaged some months ago, and yes I'm finally getting around to blogging a few of their photos. I don't blog every photo shoot I do, but sometimes I forget to blog something I wanted to. Actually, I just photographed their wedding a couple weeks ago, and I will be blogging that soon as well. They are a very fun couple, and just wait till you see their very stylish wedding at the Historic Crockett Theatre in Lawrenceburg, TN. We got some amazing photos that day, with my wife Shannon as my second shooter. For now, enjoy these few photos from the engagement session of Kevin and Kim. We walked around downtown Nashville and shot in several locations. To see my main website and galleries, visit HERE.

Geoff + Jennifer : Vintage engagement

I often encourage couples to do a theme of some sort for their engagement shoot. Some do, some don't. Either way is great. Using a vintage P-51 Mustang airplane and a 40's vintage theme to go with it is just pure fun! Geoff and Jennifer pulled it off so well, right down to the white gloves. HOw about that red dress? Love it. Geoff's vintage military uniform also sealed the deal. I am going to be shooting their wedding in October, overseas. They will be married at the Turks and Caicos islands, not far from Cuba. This is going to a gooood. I've known Jennifer for around 16 years or more, and she's a great friend. Geoff has also become a friend, and I'm so glad Jennifer has found the right one for her. Congrats to you both! Let's fly. To see my main website and galleries, click this link www.ShaneIrwinPhotography.com
