Malcolm + Rachel married

Malcolm and Rachel were married on April 5th, 2014 in a big, beautiful back yard!  Have I ever mentioned how much I love back yard weddings?  Malcolm is someone I have known for about 18 years, though we have not been in touch very much. He is one of the most kind spirited men I have ever known.  It was so great to be reacquainted with him, and also to have met his wonderful new wife, Rachel.   I got the call for the photography, and it was a bit short notice, but I had a date wide open, so I took it. So glad I did!    Enjoy the photos.   I will likely be posting more photos of them on this very post, soon.

This is Braxton, and he the latest of our very, very young clients. I am having fun photographing babies and expecting moms during the winter, when wedding photography is in its offseason.  Below are also some maternity photos from Braxton's mom and dad, not long ago when Braxton was yet to be born!  Think of this as a "before and after" blog.  I also photographed the wedding of Donnie and Michelle. Here is a link to the wedding blog, which I still need to follow up on...  Click HERE

Shane Irwin Photography is about to have a new website up in a week or two. We are implementing some new things, and revitalizing others.    I am excited about the new website, and all the new sessions we are booking.

McKinley's 6 month maternity session

6 months down, and 3 to go!  McKinley will be shooting another session with us in a few months. We are blessed to be able to have shot this mini-session with her. We did all this in about 10 minutes of actual shoot time. She's also a wonderful person!

This was officially THE coldest photo shoot I have ever done. I don't know the temp, but it was ...... c-o-l-d.  It was quite windy also, which made things very skin-chilling. It's hard to tell by looking at the photos though, but it was freezing!  We are now in the middle of a super-duper cold snap in the nation.

So enjoy the photos, and some very blue eyes!  I mentioned the other day that I would be blogging more this year. Here we go...blog #2 of the year, and we are still in the first week.  To see more of my work, visit my website by clicking  HERE.

Jared + Tara Engaged

Happy New Year!  Today is January 1st, 2014.  I am going to vow right here and now--that I will spend much more time blogging this year than I did last year. Consider it done!
Here are a few samples of the fun engagement photo session I had with Tara and Jared. We started on the Shelby Street walking bridge in downtown Nashville. We then worked our way around town,  onto 2nd Ave, even dropping in to shoot a few inside of Old Spaghetti Factory. (one of my most favorite places to eat!)  This is where they will be having their rehearsal dinner at in May.  We finally shot a few  photos at Riverfront Park, right by the Cumberland River.  I will be shooting their wedding in early May, and we are much looking forward to it.
They do like zombies. So we included some little green zombies in the photos!  It was extremely  cold on this day, but the zombies did not seem to mind a bit!  As for us humans, we were doing all we could to keep our mortal bodies warm.
Keep an eye out some time after May for their wedding photos!  You can also see more of my work at my main website, ShaneIrwinPhotography.com
