Dylan + Andrea: married

I know, I have been MIA on my blog for a long time now. After finishing up a very busy 2011 season, I took some to catch up on editing, business planning, getting engaged, moving, etc. Well, I'm back, and this is my first blog in too many weeks!

Wedding date 11/11/11
Dylan and Andrea, married at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bowling Green, KY. What a gorgeous church! Normally, us wedding photographers don't show off many photos from the actual ceremony, but in this case, I'm going to. It was too beautiful not to.

Andrea and Dylan's wedding was the third in a trilogy of 2011 weddings that I shot for their family in 2011. One, being Andrea's sister, Amanda. Thanks to all of you for the honor of photographing your family. You are all great people to know.

Enjoy the photos, and be sure to visit my website, if you haven't yet. Click HERE.

Vince + Emily married at Ft. Campbell

Vince and Emily were married November 12th, 2011 at Ft. Campbell, KY. It was a very special location, overlooking a beautiful lake that rested on lower ground. Stunning!

Vince and Emily were awesome to work with! The wedding ceremony was beautiful, and the reception full of great moments and memories. I hope to post more soon....

Brandon + Jenny married in KY.

Brandon and Jenny, married in Bowling Green, KY., on Oct 8th, 2011. Not only was it a special day for the Marine and his new bride, and but next day was pretty fun too. We met up for one of my favorite things, a "day after" photo shoot. Back on with the wedding attire, and out for some great photo shooting adventures. They had access to a family saloon, as seen below, and also a cattle range, and a bridge, and some various country roads.

The wedding itself took place at a beautiful country church in Bowling Green. There were two young, friendly cats who followed us around outside the church all day as we shot various photos. At one point, while my attention was elsewhere, they commandeered my backpack style camera bag! (as seen below). Brandon and Jenny were a blast to work with, and I would love to keep them both as long term friends if they only lived closer. Good people!
I know this blog post is very photo heavy, but after two days of shooting, what else can I do?

Daniel + Stephanie engagement, Army Style

I love my job. I get to work with wonderful couples like this on a regular basis, doing something I love, and something that they have fun doing; being models for a day. Stephanie and Daniel were so laid back, just being themselves as I lined up these shots in my eye and camera. Toward the end of the shoot, their little one made a few cameos in the frames!

We arrived onto Ft. Campbell, KY. late in the afternoon, about 90 minutes before sunset, as planned. Most of these photos were made using natural, available light. Some, near the end of the shoot, I added off camera flash for just a touch of fill lighting.

Daniel and Stephanie will be married August 6th, and I will be there with cameras blazin'. Daniel will be deploying once again back to the middle east later in August. I trust he will will return safely!
