Ryan + Jordan engaged

Ok, so I haven't blogged in a few weeks, but I have come back finally. This past October has been the busiest month of my career. I have to say though, I like it that way! Below is one of my many shoots of recent days.

Ryan and Jordan will be getting married in Colorado, one of my favorite states. For now, they are still here in Nashville, and I was lucky enough to be hired to shoot their engagament photos downtown. There are so many great, scenic locations downtown, and we walked around, using a good variety of them.

Ryan and Jordan are a great couple to work with, and never run short of affection for each other, and it shows. Enjoy the new photos everyone.

Galen + Angela at "The Factory"

October 9th, at The Factory in Franklin, TN. Galen and Angela were married at this location, which is one of my favorite places to be at. Just being there is great, but being there for a wedding is even better. We were inside Jameson Hall, and they took advantage of every bit of it with a fairly packed house!
Lots of fun people, fun dancing, a faith based ceremony, and a surprise or two just to top things off. Thanks Galen and Angela for having me photograph your big wedding day! It was an honor.

Matthew + Jessica: Day before deployment

A couple weeks ago, Jessica contacted me about doing a shoot with them right before Matt deploys again to Afghanistan. We ended up shooting on the day before his latest deployment. He will be gone for up to a year. Come back safe, Matt!
This was my second time shooting with this couple, and they are really great people. We had a good time together, as usual. We shot at the Parthenon first, then we rode in Matt's extrememly fast new car to an undiclosed, hidden top secret location for further shots, which included the aforementioned, very fast car!

Ben + Cheyanne "Vintage Engagement"

A vintage inspired engagement shoot in Nashville. Ben and Cheyanne were incredible subjects to photograph, as they played the part to perfection. What a fun couple to work with! Waiting for a train can be lonely, but not when you have each other. They are waiting on the wedding train, and it's coming their way.

Thanks to both of you for going the full 9 yards with me on this shoot. I had a great time. We all had a vision, and made it happen.

Stephanie + Daniel at Cedarwood Mansion

If ever there were a "dream location" for a wedding in Nashville, Cedarwood Mansion is just that. Stephanie and Daniel were married there on Friday, August 6th. The word "balmy" does come to mind, but it was so worth it for everybody.

An intimate gathering of friends and family were on hand for the day. Stephanie and Daniel were kind enough to spend a little extra time with me in the sweltering heat, for the purpose of capturing some artistic style photos to feed my need for expression, and satisfy their own desires for some romantic album photos.

Thank you Daniel and Stephanie for all the kindness, and for trusting me to shoot your wedding and engagement photos. I may add a few more photos to this blog in a day or two. Check back soon.
